I am an Ocean Engineer working in atmospheric/ocean modeling and data analysis, and currently serve as the Vice President of Oceanweather Inc. My professional interests are around extreme weather, tropical cyclones, waves, storm surge, and offshore wind energy. The work I do involves numerical modeling, scientific software development, open-source/reproducible science, and high-performance computing.
I also find some satisfaction learning about and tinkering with architecture, gardening, diy, sustainability, computers, robotics, smart home, self hosting, and 3D printing.
